"Quotes"

I have been cold all the days of my life,
please God someone show me warmth.
What is a fool if not a man
who repeats his mistakes.
Blinded by my own wounds,
I made others bleed.
On days the fog of uncertainty is great,
I fear the mountain of my errors
to be insurmountable.
You’ll have to forgive my mistakes,
I was never taught how to be perfect.
I only wish to be
the version of me that you deserve.
I vow to treat each day
as a chance to right the wrongs of yesterday.
For my hope is based in experience.
I’ve never trudged through a valley
without embracing the peak that awaits.
